- Web reference is carrying the first chapter of a book on Curl, Enterprise Curl. Gradually I have been reading more and more about this language and the author does position it as possibly “another software technology…will kill off the current Web…very soon…in the next 2 to 3 years,…” as it follows some of the recommended models of moving the processing back to the desktop and hence back into the realm of the client/server model. Curl looks like it could allow you to develop RIA in the form of an executable available for download.
- Another Alert Box on on-line advertising, this time talking about stability and how ineffectual rotating banners are.
- A collection of links to RSS related sites with heaps of background information. Just superb and the site looks very pretty too…
- Found these Visio stencils the other day for rapid prototyping, along with a nice article on the topic.
- This looks like a pretty good tool for prototyping web sites and UIs
- Here you’ll find a Dreamweaver extension for accessibility checking
- Poodle is a tool that will show you what your site may look like if Google indexed it, i.e. it shows you what Google sees.

- This Australian site has another great collection of documents and tools for download.
- And thanks to Matthew Mullenweg for the link to Making A Commercial Case for Adopting Web Standards
